Describe the location precisely
State the building location, roof placement and how authorized personnel normally reach the equipment. Share existing site drawings and photographs only when approved for release. Distinguish observations from assumptions about access. Do not describe a roof edge or nearby street as a usable lifting position without qualified review.
Collect the equipment and site records
Provide the set identity, documented dimensions and weight, attached equipment and available installation records. Identify alterations or missing documents. Make clear which figures describe the entire package and which describe components. Give reviewers the sources rather than a single unexplained weight copied into an email.
Assign the assessment questions
Ask the qualified removal provider to identify what surveys, approvals, access arrangements and planning it requires. Coordinate those requests with the responsible building team. The sales package should explain the unanswered questions; it should not prescribe crane placement, lifting points or structural suitability.
Price the confirmed scope
Separate the equipment offer from any provisional removal allowance. Record who arranges the professional work and which exclusions remain. Confirm schedule dependencies before promising availability. If the assessment changes the proposed scope, issue the updated information consistently and obtain revised terms before proceeding.
